Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 1 ½ cups pretzel twists or sticks
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (peanuts, cashews, or almonds)
  • 1 cup bagel chips or rye chips
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, pretzels, nuts, and bagel chips.
  3. Make the seasoning: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat the mix: Drizzle the seasoned butter mixture over the dry ingredients, tossing gently to coat everything evenly.
  5. Bake: Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45-50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting.
  6. Cool & serve: Remove from the oven and let the mix cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Feel free to add Cheez-Its, Goldfish crackers, or popcorn for extra crunch.
  • For a spicy kick, add ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the butter mixture.
  • This mix is perfect for parties and road trips—store in small ziplock bags for easy snacking.
  • To make it gluten-free, use only Corn Chex and Rice Chex, and swap pretzels and bagel chips for gluten-free options.
